FAQ
What is the booking fee?
To secure your chosen date and time a $50 deposit is required when booking your package. The booking fee will be deducted from your total package price and is non-refundable.
How many images will we receive & can I purchase more?
Amount of images received depends on what package you choose to book. Please see package details for more information.
Gallery upgrades are available to purchase additional images and prints. Gallery upgrade information is provided with your proofing gallery.
How should we dress for our photo session?
Once you have chosen and booked your photography package, I will send you our style guide containing colours and styles that compliment one another.
Some of our packages give access to our client closet for mum and baby.
60+ minute sessions
60+ minute sessions allow us more time to photograph in different areas within the location, lets us capture deeper connections and personalities, and allows for any outfit changes if required.
When is the best time to book a cake samsh?
This depends when you would like your images by.
If you would like to receive your images before the birthday date, I would suggest to book in a cake smash session 3-4 weeks prior as it is a 2-4 week turn around for gallery delivery.
I have had families book in a session after the birthday date and still enjoyed the session and delivery of their images after the event.
When is the best time to have a maternity photoshoot?
Most mama's book in during the start of their second trimester to secure their chosen date.
Maternity is best captured at 28-34 weeks, as your bump is showing and you feel comfortable.
For last minute sessions please reach out and I will do my best to provide a date for you.
Proofing Galley?
You will receive a proofing gallery within 7 days after your session. Your proofing gallery will contain all images from your session, these images are not fully edited and will be watermarked. You view and choose your images you would like to be apart of your package, additional images can be added if you wish to purchase a gallery upgrade. Once you have chosen and confirmed your images to be a part of your package, you will receive your complete edited gallery within 3 weeks.
When will I receive my images?
Once proofing gallery images have been chosen and confirmed, with all invoices paid, there is a 3 week turn around for completed galleries. You will receive a link via email to your private online gallery to download your completed images.
*Print orders are made monthly and will be delivered to you once complete.
Outdoor locations?
When you have chosen and booked your photography package, I will provide a link to our location guide, you can share your ideas of locations or you can choose to have your photoshoot in the comfort of your home. Studio hire can be arranged at the clients expense.
When should I book my newborn session?
I suggest booking in your newborn session for around 2 weeks after your due date. I will move dates around near the time to allocate for your baby's arrival if needed.
Newborn session do not have to take place in the first two weeks of baby being born, is it your preference. I have photographed newborn sessions when baby has been 3, 4, 5 and 6 weeks old. The first 2 weeks just allows baby to be more in their sleepy era and their tiny features.
My children are active or shy?
Once you have chosen and booked your photography package, I will send you a questionnaire. Completing this questionnaire enables you to describe your family and preferences for your session, allowing me to personalise your session. I use prompts throughout the session to guide you and allow the children to be themselves.. I do love to capture children's different personalities.
